Samsung’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G has been spotted on Geekbench, revealing some rather interesting specs. Notably, the mid-ranger runs Android 15, the first Samsung smartphone spotted to do so.
According to forearena, the Geekbench listing revealed that the A36 5G is running the latest Android OS, presumably via Samsung’s One UI 7.0. For context, Samsung has previously announced that its flagship Galaxy S25 Series, which will be released next year, will be the company's debut of Android 15 on its smartphones.

Hence, the A36 5G will likely be released after the Galaxy S25 Series makes its debut, which is touted for January 2025. Besides that, the A36 5G is also spotted on the Geekbench listing as running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, likely to be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, paired with 6GB RAM.
On single-core, the device scored 1060, while on multi-core, it scored 3070. Well, stay tuned to TechNave for the latest developments on this and more trending tech news.
