The 2018 version of the Samsung Galaxy A5 has been spotted on the HTML5 Test website bearing the model number SM-A530F. The device is the successor to this year's very own Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017). Based on the reports by GizmoChina, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) was tested on the HTML5 listing with Android 7.1.1, which means it may not come with Android 8 Oreo out of the box.
Other reports and images from the listing also shows that the Galaxy A5 (2018) will be sporting a 18.5:9 aspect ratio display which could very well be an infinity display; the same display made popular from the flagship Galaxy S8 series. The fingerprint scanner/ home button is also missing from the bottom which means that it should be relocated to the back of the phone.
No official release dates nor Malaysian pricings have been spotted around yet but the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) is expected to be announced early next year. For now, not much to do but to take these rumours with a grain of salt, sit back and be patient. Also it would do you some good to stay tuned to TechNave.com for more latest scoops.
