As previously reported, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G will be launched in Malaysia on 22 March 2024. The company didn't wait too long for the price reveal and they are official now with a starting price of RM1699. Moreover, each phone comes with a bundled gift promotion.
The RM1699 price tag belongs to the Galaxy A35 5G with 256GB and comes in Awesome IceBlue, Awesome Lilac and Awesome Navy. Its bundled gift comprises a complimentary 2-year Samsung Care+ which includes 2 years of accidental and liquid damage and a year of extended warranty with device support service. You also can get to enjoy PWP up to 30% off for selected Samsung accessories like the Galaxy Fit3 band.
On the other hand, the Galaxy A55 5G (also in 256GB) is priced at RM1999 with the same colour schemes. The promo for this phone consists of a free pair of Galaxy Buds FE, a 1-year extended warranty and the same PWP offer of up to 30% off for Samsung accessories. The two new Galaxy phones will officially be available in Malaysia at Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung Authorised Retailers, Samsung Brand Stores on Shopee and Lazada, and Samsung Malaysia Online Store.
To recap the tech specs, the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G have the same 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging technology and a 6.6-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display. At the camera corner, the former has a better set of cameras - a 50MP primary OIS sensor + 12MP ultrawide + 5MP macro triple rear camera, while the other has the same except for the 8MP ultrawide lens.
