Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Malaysia release - 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and more arriving in Malaysia soon

If you are a big fan of Samsung smartphones, this news might catch your attention. Recently, Samsung announced both the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G were confirmed for Malaysia release. That said, what should you know about it?

For your information, these devices will be officially available in Malaysia starting 22 March 2024. The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. At the same time, the display supports Vision Booster technology that can adjust the brightness to its surrounding environment.

In addition, the phone runs 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also houses a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged via a USB-C port and 25W charging. Camera-wise, it sports a 50MP main camera with OIS + 12MP (ultra-wide) + 5MP (macro) and a 32MP selfie to complement this device.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G also features a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster technology. It also runs 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, it houses a 5000mAh battery which supports 25W charging. Camera-wise, it runs a 50MP + 8MP + 5MP main camera with a 13MP selfie camera.

As you can expect, both phones run the new launcher One UI 6.0 based on Android 14. Both phones were given better security updates through Samsung Knox Vault support that can protect data from various cyber-attacks. Both phones also have access to the Security & Privacy Dashboard which allows control to be made on the device including access rights to an application.

We have yet to confirm the price for both phones. However, we could expect Samsung Malaysia to announce it soon. You might want to save up for it.
