Samsung may be launching its A-series mid-range devices soon, including the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G  which has long been in the rumour mills. This is after the smartphone was listed on Thailand’s NBTC database, alluding to a launch in Southeast Asia soon.

As shared by GSMArena, the NBTC listing showed that the device has the model number SM-A556E/DS, with the “DS” meaning dual-SIM support. Hence, do expect the device to have dual-SIM when it launches in the Southeast Asia region, similar to its predecessor.

However, not much about the Galaxy A55 5G was revealed by the listing, except for confirming that it’ll have 5G support. The same device was spotted on Geekbench previously though, which showed that the smartphone will be powered by the Exynos 1480 SoC paired with 8GB RAM.

Well, we just have to wait until the official announcement by Samsung to know when the Galaxy A55 5G will be released. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news.
