Today, Samsung Malaysia is back once again with another Galaxy A Series lineup. Introducing the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G, these mid-range tier phones will be available from 18 March 2025 onwards, at a starting price of RM1,199.
These three phones are quite similar to each other, sporting the same 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,000 mAh battery pack with 45W Super Fast Charge 2.0. Other than that, they also run on One UI 7 based on Android 15 and are IP67 water and dust resistance rated. Samsung said these phones will get up to six generations of OS and security updates.
Besides that, the Galaxy A36 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, while the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A26 5G come with an Exynos 1580 and Exynos 1380 chipset, respectively. The three new Galaxy A phones also have a 50MP primary camera, but the rest of the sensors are different. From 18 to 31 March 2025, interested customers can get some freebies by buying either one of the newest Galaxy A Series models. This includes an exclusive RM100 e-voucher, double storage upgrade (worth RM200), a 1-year extended warranty, and up to 30% off PwP with selected Galaxy Watch, buds, tablet or accessories.
