Today, Samsung has officially revealed the much-talked mid-range device, the triple camera Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) and the quadruple camera Galaxy A9 (2018) at the global launch in Malaysia. It looks like it was designed to enter the trend of camera-centric smartphones that has been happening recently. Unfortunately, no price was announced for the Galaxy A9 (2018) but is scheduled for November 2018 release.

So why does it have so many cameras? Well, the company is using the other sensors for better portrait and wide-angle view and nothing else. With this, this allows the two mid-range smartphones to have Live Focus which is usually seen on their premium series, as well as having a wider view. In addition, the telephoto lens has a 2x optical zoom and it's also confirmed that there is a Scene Optimizer feature on the Galaxy A9 (2018). As for the color options, the Samsung Galaxy A7 is offered in black, blue, gold and pink while the Samsung Galaxy A9 will come in Lemonade Blue, Caviar Black and Bubblegum Pink. Below are the hands on pictures.
