Previously, rumours claimed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A73 5G will get powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G used by the A52 5G (as there was no Galaxy A72). However, this new information might be good news as it points to that the device will utilize a more powerful chip instead.

According to Geekbench results, it looks like the Galaxy A73 will use the chipset from the A52s 5G, which is the Snapdragon 778G. The chip is based on a 6nm process with four Cortex-A78 cores and four A55 cores, alongside a near-flagship Adreno 642L GPU, a triple ISP and a 5G modem (X53). Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 750G is only an 8nm chip.

Furthermore, it's said to bring a 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The camera setup could have a 108MP primary camera, a 12MP, 8MP (likely ultra-wide and telephoto), and 2MP sensors. Lastly, there should be a 5,000mAh battery with a 25W fast charging support.
