It seems that a few local distributors have started taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy A80, starting from the price of RM2499. DirectD has stated on their Facebook post, that the pre-ordered devices should arrive on 13 July 2019. Factory Mobile, on the other hand, did not mention any arrival date.
The Samsung Galaxy A80 is the first device by Samsung, to come equipped with a camera that is able to flip itself to the front when taking a selfie. That being said, the smartphone in question does not feature any form of display notch at the front which gives it a much cleaner look.
In terms of the tech specs, the Samsung Galaxy A80 comes fitted with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 6.7-inch FHD+ display and a 3700mAh non-removable battery. As for the image sensors, the device comes with a 48MP + 8MP + TOF sensor housed in a motorised pop-up flip camera housing.
