It's been 2 years since the Samsung Galaxy A80 was released and we just spotted the Galaxy A82 (SM-A826S) appearing on Geekbench. The device might sport a Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and run on Android 11 out of the box.

On top of that, the device chipset is 'msmnile' which is known as the Snapdragon 855, the flagship predecessor of the current Snapdragon 888. Earlier, the company had been using the flagship chipset for a few years for newer devices. For example, the Galaxy F62 is now using the Exynos 9825 chipset which powered the Galaxy Note10.

Besides that, the Snapdragon 855 doesn't support 5G connectivity but according to earlier reports, it says the device might have 5G support. If true, we think that this device could have a separate 5G modem like other 5G smartphones powered by the same processor.
