Samsung today announced that it is expanding the languages supported by its AI powerhouse, the Galaxy AI, to 4 new languages. The new languages are Turkish, Dutch, Sweedish and Romanian.
In a press release, Samsung said that this expanded support is now beginning to roll out to users globally. Moreover, existing supported languages will also expand to cover additional dialects in traditional Chinese and Portuguese (Europe).
Currently, Galaxy AI supports 16 languages, and by the end of the year, Samsung said that the number will go up to 20 with these new additions. This update means even more users will be able to lower language barriers and step into a larger world with the power of Galaxy AI.
The new languages and dialects will be available for download as language packs from the Settings app of compatible Galaxy devices. For reference, the supported languages in Galaxy AI are Arabic, Chinese (China mainland, Hong Kong), English (Australia, India, United Kingdom, United States), French (Canada, France), German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish (Mexico, Spain, United States), Thai and Vietnamese.
