Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 2, Galaxy Book Ion 2, and Notebook Plus 2 release: 11th-Gen Intel CPUs and Nvidia GPUs, starts from ~RM2,776

Today, Samsung has unveiled its 2021 laptop lineup with three models including the Galaxy Book Flex 2, Galaxy Book Ion 2, and Notebook Plus 2. All these new laptops come with 11th-Gen Intel Core processors for improved performance and battery life. Read on to find out what are the tech specs and features that these laptops bring!

 

Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 2

Starting with the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 2, the laptop is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop that comes with a touchscreen display and an S Pen. It will be available in two sizes that are 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch. The Galaxy Book Flex 2 is powered by 11th-Gen Intel Core CPUs with Iris Xe integrated graphics and features PCIe 4.0 SSDs.

Other than that, the 15.6-inch version also features Nvidia’s MX450 dedicated GPU. The Galaxy Book Flex 2's price ranges from KRW 1.84 million (~RM6,765) to KRW 2.83 million (~RM10,406) and will be available in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze. There is also a 5G model and it's available in Royal Silver with a price of KRW 2.725 million (~RM10,020) in South Korea.

Samsung Galaxy Book Ion 2

Next, we have the Samsung Galaxy Book Ion 2 that is an ultra-lightweight laptop from the lineup. Like the Galaxy Book Flex 2, it also comes in two sizes that are 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch. The 13.3-inch version weighs just 970g and is 12.9mm thin. Both laptops are powered by Intel’s 11th-Gen Core processors as well, but only the 15.6-inch version offers the ability to upgrade RAM and SSD storage. The Galaxy Book Ion 2 15.6-inch can also be configured with Nvidia’s dedicated graphics. The Galaxy Book Ion 2’s price ranges from KRW 1.38 million (~RM5,074) to KRW 2.45 million (~RM9,009).

Samsung Notebook Plus 2

Lastly, Samsung has updated the Notebook Plus laptop and this new version comes with a 15.6-inch display. Other than 11th-Gen Intel Core CPUs, customers can also choose between Nvidia MX450 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti depending on needs. The laptop's price starts from KRW 755,000 (~RM2,776) to KRW 1.94 million (~RM7,134) and is available in Mystic Grey and Pure White.
