The next Samsung Unpacked is still 12 days away, but Samsung has something new to release ahead of that launch. Samsung is set to release the Galaxy Buds Core later today in selected markets. While not quite a global launch, details for the new Galaxy Buds series earphones are out.

Tech specs and features

Spotted on Samsung UAE, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Core is set to be the most affordable pair of earphones in the Galaxy Buds lineup. However, it has active noise cancelling (ANC) like its pricier counterparts. It also boasts the longest battery life of any Galaxy Buds earphones to date, offering a runtime of up to 35 hours with ANC disabled. This is thanks to the 65mAh on each earbud and the 500mAh battery in the carrying case.

The Galaxy Buds Core aims to provide better comfort with its Wingtip design. This ensures the earbuds stay in place, while still feeling light and comfy in your ears. It also offers fast pairing and auto-switching between paired devices, so you can use it seamlessly with your smartphone and tablet. Three microphones help make voice calls clear, and there's Galaxy AI support with its Interpreter feature to hear translations without looking at your Galaxy smartphone.

Price and availability

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Core is available in only black or white colours. It's retailing on the Samsung UAE website for 189 AED (~RM218), making it the most affordable Samsung Galaxy Buds. Despite that, it has many useful features and a solid design, so it should be popular if it is released in Malaysia.
