As you've seen from our earlier news, the Samsung Unpacked event unveiled the latest Galaxy foldable smartphones and smartwatches. But those are not the only devices launched during the event, as the company also revealed not one but two new earbuds - the Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro.
Galaxy Buds3
First, let's check out the Galaxy Buds3. Unlike its predecessors, the latest Samsung Galaxy Buds3 is a pair of earbuds with a stem design. According to Samsung, the new Galaxy Buds3 is more comfortable. The company has enhanced comfort levels and wearability by using 3D scans from customers. In addition, Samsung changed the case's design to accommodate the stems.
Interestingly, the Galaxy Buds3 don't have silicone ear-tips. So while they sit on your ears comfortably, it doesn't have the seal and sound isolation that ear tips provide. You still get active noise cancellation (ANC) to block out noise, so there's no need to get the Pro variant just for that.
The Galaxy Buds3 has a frequency range of 20-40kHz, providing listeners with good treble and bass. Its dual amp can amplify audio up to 10 times, so it doesn't lack in volume either. Samsung also included a listening (interpretation) mode, an adaptive EQ, IP57 water and dust resistance, and more. The Galaxy Buds3 retails in Malaysia for RM599.
Galaxy Buds3 Pro
Next, we have the Galaxy Buds Pro. The Galaxy Buds Pro features a Blade Lights design, giving it a sleek look and an LED indicator. Compared to the Galaxy Buds3, the Galaxy Buds Pro has a few key differences. First, it has ear tips for a better ear seal and sound isolation. The external microphones that help with the ANC are also in different positions. Its Intelligent Sound system also features Siren detection and enhanced voice voice detection.
As for features, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro also has a real-time interpretation mode powered by Galaxy AI. Audio quality should also be improved, as it has an enhanced frequency range of 20kHz to 60kHz, thanks to its two-way speakers. Besides that, the Galaxy Buds Pro has a dual amp, Intelligent Sound, IP57 dust and water resistance. The Galaxy Buds3 Pro is priced at RM999.
