Just today, Samsung held its latest Galaxy Unpacked and unveiled the Galaxy S26 series. It consists of the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung also has some audio devices to show this time - the Galaxy Buds4 series. Below is the overview of the tech specs, features, and prices.
Design
It's easy to tell that the Galaxy Buds4 features a new design. Firstly, the earbuds now have an updated look. While the earbuds retain the same general shape, the stems now sport a flat design. For comparison, the Galaxy Buds3 series featured more angular stems, which seemed better for pinch gestures but weren't as optimal for basic touch controls. The stems also have metal covers now.
Samsung has also changed the charging case's design. Instead of having the earbuds slide in vertically, the company reverted to the pre-Galaxy Buds3 series square case design. Moreover, the case cover is now transparent, which gives it a bit of flair. In terms of colours, the Galaxy Buds4 comes in black or white. The Galaxy Buds4 Pro has one more option in pink gold.
Tech specs and features
The Galaxy Buds4 series earbuds deliver audio via a larger 11mm sound driver, which is paired with a wider woofer for 20% more effective speaker area. Combined with the tweeter, the Galaxy Buds4 series can deliver more immersive audio, rich treble, and clean bass. Despite using larger drivers, the Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro only weigh 4.6g and 5.1g, respectively.
However, we do know the battery capacities for the two models. The Galaxy Buds4 comes with a 45mAh battery for each earbud, plus a 515mAh battery in the case for a combined music playback time of up to 30 hours. On the other hand, the Galaxy Buds4 Pro has 61mAh batteries for the earbuds and a 530mAh battery for the charging case. It also delivers up to 30 hours of music playback.
In terms of features, the Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro offer active noise cancellation (ANC), Ambient Sound, Adaptive EQ, and Adaptive ANC. The Pro model also has Voice and Siren Detect, which helps the user block out background noise when it detects noise, or let in ambient sound if it detects alarms or sirens. Lastly, the Galaxy Buds4 series introduces integration with AI agents. In this case, it includes Bixby, Google Gemini, and Perplexity.
As mentioned, the Galaxy Buds4 series earbuds now feature stems with flat sides. This makes it better for swipe controls, which both models support. However, Samsung has also added Head Gesture controls for the Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro, so you can manage calls or 'talk' with Bixby hands-free.

Price and availability
The Galaxy Buds4 series will be available in select markets starting today (26 February 2026), followed by general availability starting 11 March 2026. As for pricing, the Galaxy Buds4 will retail for RM699, while the Galaxy Buds4 Pro will cost RM999.
