Most of you should be aware by now that CES 2021 starts next week when a bunch of new products will be revealed to the world. Samsung seems to want a head start though, as it has introduced a new laptop in advance - the Galaxy Chromebook 2.

This premium Chromebook has a 2-in-1 form factor and supports the use of an optional stylus. But what makes it premium is the 13.3-inch QLED display, which produces higher max brightness, wider colour gamut, and better power efficiency. Besides that, it has the Smart AMP sound technology that delivers a higher volume (up to 178% more) than the average amplifier. As described by Samsung, this is a Chromebook that's built for entertainment.

In terms of specs, the Galaxy Chromebook 2 comes in two main configurations. One has an Intel Celeron 5205U CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, while the other features an Intel Core i3-10110U CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. If that's not enough storage for you, you can slot in a micro-SD card for more. The laptop also has a 720p webcam and a 45.5WHr battery.

Chromebooks can run certain Android apps, so a laptop like this might appeal to many of you. But would you be interested in buying one over a regular Windows PC? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates like this.
