Samsung Galaxy F04 release: Helio P35 SoC and 5000mAh battery at~RM399

As we’ve alluded to previously, Samsung today released the Samsung Galaxy F04 in India today. The South Korean tech giant’s latest budget offering, the smartphone features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. 

According to the official Samsung India website, the display also sports a waterdrop notch which houses a 5MP selfie camera. At its rear, there’s a 13MP main + 2MP depth dual-camera setup with an LED flash.

Under the hood, the Galaxy F04 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. There’s also an option to expand the RAM virtually by another 4GB by utilising the device’s 128GB storage. 

Battery-wise, the smartphone sports a 5000mAh battery which supports 15W charging. It runs on Android 12 (Go Edition) via One UI with Samsung promising up to 2 years of OS updates.

The device lacks a fingerprint scanner but has a face unlock feature for biometric authentication. Other notable specs include dual SIM, a 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C and colour options of either pink or green.

In India, the Galaxy F04 is priced at INR7499 or ~RM399 and will go on sale this 12 January via Samsung India’s official website or Flipkart. As of the time of writing, Samsung has yet to reveal whether the device will be available outside of India.
