Samsung Galaxy F06 5G to launch on 12 February with Dimensity 6300 SoC and 5000mAh battery

Samsung has confirmed the release date of its latest entry-level 5G smartphone in India, the Samsung Galaxy F06 5G. A Flipkart microsite on the device is already live, revealing a release date of 12 February at noon local time. 

Accordingly, several of the device’s key specs have also been revealed, which include the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC under the hood. Screen-wise, it’s a 6.7-inch HD+ display with 800 nits peak brightness, a quite thick ‘chin’ and a water-drop notch housing the 8MP selfie shooter.

At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP shooter paired with a 2MP depth sensor. Other notable specs revealed include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4 gen OS upgrades, 4 years of security updates, 5G connectivity, a 5000mAh battery which supports 25W charging via the USB-C port and colour options of either Bahama Blue and Lit Violet. For the full price and availability, we just have to wait until 12 February.
