Samsung Galaxy F15 5G release - 6000mAh battery, Dimensity 6100+ SoC & 90Hz AMOLED from ~RM741

As we’ve alluded to previously, Samsung today launched its latest mid-ranger in India, the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G. Featuring some compelling specs at a low price point, read on to find out more about the device. 

In a press release, Samsung India revealed that the Galaxy F15 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC paired with either 4 or 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Under the hood, there’s also a massive 6000mAh battery with support for 25W charging via the USB-C port.

Screen-wise, it’s a 6.5-inch 90Hz AMOLED with an FHD+ resolution and tear-drop notch housing the 13MP selfie shooter. At the back, there’s a 50MP main + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP depth triple-camera setup. 

Other notable specs include a 3.5mm audio jack, Android 14 OS, 4 gen of Android upgrades, 5 years of security updates, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G connectivity and colour options of either Ash Black, Groovy Violet or Jazzy Green. In India, the Galaxy F15 5G is priced at INR12999 or ~RM741 for the base 4/128GB model and INR14499 or ~RM827 for the 6/128GB configuration. As of the time of writing, Samsung has yet to unveil whether the device will be sold in other markets globally.
