Once again, the existence of a new phone is revealed through certification organisations. A new device from Samsung was spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance's database, indicating that it could be coming soon. Listed as a mobile phone with the model number SM-M015G/DS, this Android 10 device is expected to be the Galaxy M01.

According to Sammobile, hints of the Galaxy M01 first appeared about two weeks ago, when a Geekbench result was found. It listed a few key details of the device, such as the fact that it runs on a chipset with an 8-core CPU from Qualcomm and 3GB of RAM. The chipset is believed to be the Snapdragon 439, which is also the chipset used in the Galaxy A01.

Considering the similarities, there's a possibility that the Galaxy M01 is a rebranding of the Galaxy A01 we have here in Malaysia. This rebranded model is expected to be shipped as an entry-level device to certain markets like India or Russia. However, please note that this is just our speculation and the two may have differences.

Assuming that this is indeed the Galaxy A01, it means the device is already available here. But having said that, what are your thoughts on the device? Is an entry-level device like this sufficient for your needs? Let us know on our Facebook page and follow us on TechNave.com for more news.
