In early April, we reported that the Samsung Galaxy M14 5G was spotted on SIRIM and it's going to make its debut soon. Samsung Malaysia has announced that the phone will indeed launch on 24 May 2023.
Exclusively launching on Lazada (LazMall Super Brand Day), the Galaxy M14 is officially priced at RM1099. But for one day only during the Super Brand Day campaign period, Samsung fans or budget-conscious consumers can get the phone at only RM849. It seems that no freebie bundle is included.
In terms of tech specs, this budget phone comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ Infinity V display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 13MP front camera hanging out at the top centre. The triple rear camera is pretty simple, consisting of a 50MP main camera as well as depth and macro lenses with a 2MP sensor each.
Of course, it also comes with a 6000mAh battery but no fast charging seems to be available. There's only one memory variant - 6GB + 128GB and will come in Dark Blue and Blue. Running on OneUI, Samsung also promises at least two generations of OS updates and four years of security maintenance for users.
