Samsung has revamped the Galaxy M21 and released a new 2021 version of the budget smartphone today. The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition features just some minor upgrades over the previous model in terms of tech specs. It also comes with a panel that has been texturized compared to the previously smooth design.

To start with, the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition remains using the same Exynos 9611 chipset. It also sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ Infinity-U Display. Under the hood, it packs the same large 6,000mAh battery with 15W charging support. The device also uses a rear fingerprint scanner for security.

For photography, the main 48MP camera now uses Samsung's GM2 sensor. The triple-camera setup also included 8MP ultrawide and 5MP depth sensor units. On the front, the new Galaxy M21 comes with a 20MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy M21 will be available in two variants with a 4/64GB model priced at INR 12,499 (~RM709) and a 6/128GB model for INR 14,499 (~RM822). It will run One UI 3.1 Core based on Android 11 out of the box and come with two colour options - Charcoal Black and Arctic Blue. The device will be on sale starting from 26 July in India.
