It seems that a tweet posted by @stufflistings on the user’s Twitter account seems to hint that the Samsung Galaxy M42 will not only be fast, but it will be the first in the M series to come equipped with 5G capabilities. Unfortunately, there’s no news on the Malaysia release date for now so you might want to stay tuned for that.
In terms of the tech specs, gizmochina hinted that the smartphone in question is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset, 6.6-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display powered by the Adreno 619 GPU and a 6000mAh battery which supports up to 15W fast charging. Camera-wise, it will most likely have a quad-camera setup at the back with up to 64MP image sensor, as well as a 32MP front-facing selfie camera.
So yes, the Samsung #GalaxyM42 seems right around the corner. Got my hands on this video today.

With all that being said, do take every bit of information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Samsug has yet to provide an official statement on the leak. Not only that, but there’s no news on the exact tech specs and local pricing of the device for now.
