5G is getting common on most smartphones, even for entry-level models such as the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G. This new Samsung device is not in the Malaysian market yet but it does have some attractive features so read on below.

For starters, the exterior design has a massive 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ Infinity-O Display in FHD+ resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The front-facing camera is rather big as well, using a 32MP sensor while there is a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 108MP (main, OIS) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (macro) sensor.

While the chipset is unspecified, sources say that it's probably featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset but we can't be certain. As for the memory capacity, it has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you want, you can add in more space via a microSD card of up to 1TB. And as expected, the battery pack is huge - 5000mAh and has an impressive charging speed of 25W.

The phone will be running on One UI 4.1 out of the box based on Android 12. However, the availability of One UI features, apps and services may vary depending on the region. As aforementioned, Samsung Malaysia has no word on this so we will have to wait and see.
