The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S20 series, consists of the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, as well as the Galaxy S20 Ultra which is the most expensive of the bunch. The S20 series comes with several new innovations and improvements as compared to its predecessor, the S10 series. In terms of the pricing, the S20 is priced from USD999(~RM4127) while the S20 Plus and S20 Ultra goes from USD1199(~RM4954) and USD1399(~RM5780) respectively.
In terms of new features, the new Samsung Galaxy series comes equipped with a 120Hz display and 240Hz touch sensor, along with Game Booster to improve the responsiveness of the smartphone and quickly launch predetermined apps. Furthermore, it also has 5G support which not only comes with significantly faster upload and download speeds compared to 4G, but it also improves the user’s mobile gaming experience due to the fact that it is more stable.
Camera-wise, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra comes equipped with up to a 108MP main camera in the rear which allows it to take sharp high-resolution images. In addition to that, but it also comes with Single Take, Quick Crop, as well as a feature called Space Zoom which gives the smartphone the ability to zoom up to 100x as well, giving the user more freedom in terms of taking that perfect display from any distance.
Other than its picture-taking abilities, the device is also capable of recording amazing videos of up to 8k resolution in conjunction with several video-centric features such as Super Steady and Night Hyperlapse. Not only that, but Samsung Galaxy S20 series also allows the user to easily and efficiently cast the videos you have recorded onto any Samsung 8K TV or upload directly to Youtube.
In terms of the availability date, the Samsung Galaxy S20 series is expected to be available for purchase from 6 March 2020 onwards in the US. While there is no Malaysian pricing for the aforementioned smartphone series for now, Samsung be doing another launch event locally on 12 February 2020.
