Today, Samsung Malaysia has officially let the cat out of the bag with the much teased Galaxy S21 FE 5G. How is it any different from the main Galaxy S21 series? Well, for starters it's definitely cheaper - with the starting price of RM2899. Read on below to find out more about the phone.

Starting with the design, the Galaxy S21 FE design doesn't stray far away from the main Galaxy S21 series. It may be in plastic but the build is very much refined and the camera bump is smaller too. Featuring a 6.4-inch AMOLED 2x display in FHD+ resolution, it also supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The 32MP front camera is on the front as a single punch-hole cutout.

As for the triple rear camera, it consists of a 12MP (main) + 12MP (ultrawide) + 8MP (telephoto) setup. Of course, the Galaxy S21 FE is using an Exynos 2100 chipset and it's accompanied by 8GB of RAM. The battery pack is a respectable 4500mAh, and it supports 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare too.

Running on Android 12, other noteworthy features include NFC with Samsung Pay and IP68 water and dust resistance rating. There are two memory variants as well - a 128GB and 256GB model so that means there are two price tags. As aforementioned, the 128GB model cost RM2899 whereas the latter is RM3099.
