Samsung Galaxy S21 FE with SD 888 SoC release - 256GB and new Navy Blue colour for ~RM2826

Samsung has released a new variant of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in India, this time powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip instead of an Exynos one. Launched after months of speculations, read on to find out more about the device. 

First up, the device is essentially the same as before but with only one storage option and the change in SoC. Specifically, the Galaxy S21 FE variant is now powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset instead of the Exynos 2100.

As a recap, the Galaxy S21 FE features a 6.4-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and with a top centre punch-hole cutout for the 32MP selfie camera. At the rear, there’s a 12MP main + 12MP ultra-wide + 8MP telephoto triple-camera setup. 

Under the hood, it comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM paired with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, as well as a 4500mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Other notable specs include dual SIM, IP68 rating, Android 13 OS via One UI 5 and an in-display fingerprint sensor. 

In India, this new Galaxy S21 FE variant comes in Navy Blue, White, Lavender, Graphite and Olive colours and is priced at INR49999 or ~RM2826. It is unknown whether Samsung would be releasing this variant in other regions.
