The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series not too long ago but already there are talks of the company's next flagship for 2021. Rumours have been surfacing lately, with parts for a new Samsung device allegedly found on China's 3C. Sources claim that this is for the so-called Galaxy S21 series.

Specifically, there's a new 3C certification for a battery that will be used for two Samsung devices. According to MySmartPrice, this is likely the battery that will be equipped on the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+. The first device is listed as EB-BG991ABY, while the other is EB-BG996ABY. It's said that this is the SM-G991 and SM-G996 respectively, which would fit with the model numbers that Samsung tends to assign to its smartphones.

Anyway, the certification shows that the capacity of the battery on the two devices is 3880mAh and 4660mAh respectively. These may be rated capacities rather than typical capacities though, which should be closer to 4000mAh and 4800mAh. It's worth noting that the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ comes with a 4000mAh and 4500mAh battery, respectively.

While the model number seems to hint at Samsung's next Galaxy S series flagship, it's best to take this discovery with a pinch of salt.
