Samsung Galaxy S22 series could ditch the glasstic backs

When Samsung switched to 'glasstic' with the Galaxy S20 series, some fans were disappointed. Mind you, the material doesn't look all that different from glass. But many feel that glass backs are more premium, so Samsung might revert things with the Galaxy S22.

According to Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra would revert to the use of glass for its back cover. That's great news for people who prefer the premium-ness of glass backs. On the other hand, the trade-off is that you have to worry about getting more fingerprints and having less grip.

Besides that, Material IT Korea spotted a "Detail enhancer" within the Samsung camera app. It's supposed to improve the details for pictures taken by a 108MP camera and is probably the one equipped on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. It's speculated that this camera feature would enhance macro mode images.
