Things are getting more interesting in the smartphone market. Recently, a new rumour suggested the new Samsung Galaxy S23 FE could be cheaper compared to the Google Pixel 8. That said, what should you know about the latest leak?
According to MySmartPrice’s sources, the new Galaxy S23 FE could feature a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 60-120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1450 nits. It could also run the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC for the North American market and the Exynos 2200 for the global release.
In addition, it could sport 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB-256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Interestingly, the phone could feature a 50MP main camera (f/1.8 aperture), a 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom (f/2.4 aperture). For the front camera, it could be 10MP
As we mentioned before, the FE variant could come in 4 different colours. That includes Pearl White, Black Graphite, Purple Lavender, and Olive. However, another leak suggested that the phone could feature 5 colours: Graphite, Mint, Purple, White, Indigo, and Tangerine. Interestingly, the Indigo and Tangerine colourways are only available via the Samsung store.
If the rumours are true, this phone could arrive at the same time as the Pixel 8. As it stands, it looks like the Galaxy S23 FE might edge the Pixel 8 in price. The Galaxy S23 FE could start from $599 (~RM2807.21) while the Pixel 8 could cost you $699 (~RM3275.86).
