We're getting the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip in just a few months. After that, tons of new Android flagships using the chip will start popping up, and the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is on the list. According to the latest information, the next-gen Galaxy devices will arrive earlier than expected.

Reputable tipster Ice Universe says that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is "fast-paced" and could lead to "the overall advance of the release time of the new Android flagship mobile phone". It basically means that the early arrival of the Snapdragon chip will allow smartphone manufacturers to move forward with their launching schedule. He added that the Galaxy S23 series would also be "released earlier".

The Galaxy S22 series had its announcement on 9 February this year. Following that, the Galaxy S23 series should launch around that time, but it might not be the case now. The Galaxy S21 series arrived in mid-January 2021, so the upcoming Galaxy S23 could follow this timeline. The source mentions that it's unlikely for the devices to appear in December.
