At long last, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S25 FE, the newest and most accessible member of the Galaxy S25 lineup. Launching in Malaysia on 19 September 2025, the device brings Galaxy AI on One UI 8 to a wider audience, with multimodal capabilities, enhanced creativity tools, and a refined design.
Performance and Design
For starters, the Galaxy S25 FE features an Exynos 2400 chipset, 8GB of RAM and comes in two storage options - 256GB and 512GB. There is also a 10% larger vapour chamber to ensure more efficient cooling during demanding tasks like gaming or multitasking, and Samsung has also promised seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

The Galaxy S25 FE is packed with a 4900mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging, while on the front, the 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display delivers smooth and immersive visuals with its 120Hz refresh rate, while the upgraded Armour Aluminium frame provides greater durability with a refined finish.
Galaxy AI Meets Everyday Use
Running on One UI 8, the Galaxy S25 FE delivers AI-powered experiences designed to simplify daily tasks. Gemini Live enables real-time, multimodal conversations where the phone can “see what you see” for contextual guidance, such as recommending outfits based on local weather.

The Now Bar and Now Brief provide at-a-glance convenience by surfacing live updates, reminders, music, and routines directly on the lock screen. For gamers, Circle to Search with Google offers instant access to tips and strategies by circling on-screen items, all without interrupting gameplay.
These features are secured by Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP) and Personal Data Engine (PDE), ensuring sensitive data stays encrypted and on-device.
Smarter Creativity with ProVisual Engine
On the back, the triple rear camera consists of a 50MP (main) + 12MP (ultrawide) + 8MP (telephoto) setup, which is equipped with OIS (except for the ultrawide lens), while the 12MP AI-enhanced front camera is hanging on the top display.

The cameras are complemented by a ProVisual Engine, bringing upgraded photography and editing tools. Generative Edit automatically removes unwanted objects from photos, while Portrait Studio creates lifelike AI avatars. Instant Slow-mo transforms any video into smooth slow-motion playback, while Audio Eraser and Auto Trim refine videos by cleaning up background noise and automatically highlighting the best clips.
Pricing and Availability in Malaysia
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will be available in Malaysia starting 19 September 2025. The 256GB model will retail at RM3099, while the 512GB version will be priced at RM3699. Colour options include Navy, Jetblack, Icyblue, and White.
