It was only a few days ago when we reported that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S25 FE earlier than expected. According to fresh leaks from Korea, the company is gearing up to unveil its next Fan Edition device on 19 September 2025.

Earlier, But Not by Much

While the Galaxy S24 FE debuted on 26 September and became available in October, the S25 FE’s September 19 reveal marks a modest shift forward. It’s still unclear whether this date refers to the announcement or actual availability, but it’s likely Samsung wants to maintain sales momentum heading into Q4.

What to Expect

The Galaxy S25 FE is rumoured to feature:

  • A 6.7-inch AMOLED display (1080x2340) with a 120Hz refresh rate
  • Exynos 2400 chipset, a slight upgrade over the previous Exynos 2400e
  • 50MP main camera with OIS, alongside 12MP ultrawide and 8MP telephoto sensors
  • 12MP selfie camera, upgraded from the previous model
  • 4500mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging
  • IP68 rating, Gorilla Glass Victus, and Android 16 with One UI 8

Physically, the phone is slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, measuring 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm and weighing 190g—a trade-off that comes with a slightly smaller battery.

Pricing and Availability

In Korea, the S25 FE is expected to retail for under KRW 1 million, roughly ~RM3K. Global pricing may vary, but reports suggest it will be similar to or only slightly higher than the S24 FE.
