The recent Galaxy Unpacked was the debut stage for several foldable smartphones. Interestingly, reports claim Samsung also has a Galaxy S25 FE in the works. There hasn't been any official teaser or announcement, but some specs have already been leaked.

Galaxy S25 FE specs

According to GSMArena, the Galaxy S25 FE will be a flagship device but not all its features are "high-end". The phone is expected to have the Exynos 2400 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. For reference, last year's Galaxy S24 FE uses the Exynos 2400e chipset, which has a slightly lower CPU clock speed. Regardless, the Exynos 2400 and 8GB RAM are definitely not high-end in 2025.

Of course, that's not to say the Galaxy S25 FE won't have any improvements. For one, it's reported that the phone will use Armor Aluminum for a slimmer (7.4mm) and lighter (190g) design. Secondly, the 6.7-inch AMOLED screen is an LTPO panel with variable refresh rate (1Hz to 120Hz). In addition, the Galaxy S25 FE will have a larger 4900mAh battery and 45W fast charging. As for cameras, only the selfie camera is getting an upgrade from 10MP to 12MP.

Expected launch

For reference, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE launched here on 26 September 2024. We could see a late September 2025 launch for the Galaxy S25 FE, if Samsung sticks to this launch window. For the price, the Galaxy S25 FE should be in the same ballpark range of RM3299.
