The highly anticipated Samsung flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, is expected to be released sometime in January 2025, and there are various rumours circling around about the series. Recently, the base Galaxy S25 model was spotted on Geekbench, revealing an upgrade in the RAM department across the board.

Shared by @jukanlosreve on X, the Geekbench listing showed the device having the model number SM-S931N, which is touted to be the base Galaxy S25 model in South Korea. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC as expected with a single-core of 2481 and a multi-core score of 8658.

What’s interesting is that the base model has 12GB of RAM, which is an upgrade from the 8GB RAM in the base model of the Galaxy S24 Series.

This is a welcome upgrade for the base model, especially considering the emphasis on Galaxy AI features by the company. Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed just yet.
