A while back Samsung showed off a number of the S features for their upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV smartphone and one of them was Group Play. From the initial Samsung Group Play ad, it seemed like just a way for you to share your music and media, however, this is just the tip of the iceberg. In a video showing off just what you can do with Group Play, HowardForums.com sat down with Samsung reps and did a little bit more digging with Group Play.
Turns out, that it works through NFC and while you can share and stream music from one Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV smartphone to another, it also allows you to control how the music is played back. This includes options to control the the direction and volume settings for individual smartphones. While they didn't show off the possible gaming applications they did show how people could collaborate and doodle over pictures or other documents. This could perhaps be used in a small team presentation discussion through the Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV smartphone making this feature more than just for entertainment.
