Back when the Samsung Galaxy S8 devices were launched, there was a ton of complaints branching from the positioning of the fingerprint sensor being oddly situated next to the S8 camera. The positioning caused a whole lot of smudging on the precious lens and it was a bit too high for people with smaller hands.

Well, it would seem papa Samsung has been listening to their fans and could have thusly revamped the positioning of the fingerprint scanner for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 devices which are due next year.

Based on the information from PhoneArena, the Galaxy S9 is reported to have taken lessons from the Galaxy A series of devices – placing the fingerprint scanner exactly at the bottom of the camera right as it should be.

On another note, there has also been reports that the Samsung Galaxy S9 would be getting rid of the headphone jack. That’s right, Samsung could be jumping on the wireless headphone bandwagon for the sake of a revamped phone design.
