Offering entry-level users a new device and price point, Samsung Malaysia have recently announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V tablet for just RM499. Like all Galaxy Tab devices, the Tab 3 V packs in mobile Internet with 3G connectivity but upgrades the usual tech specs with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. Other features include a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and up to 32GB microSD expandable memory. A 2MP rear camera and 2MP front camera round things up with a 3600 mAh battery. The full tech specs list can be seen below:

The Tab 3 V maintains the same rounded corners look as other Galaxy Tab devices but the bezels do seem thinner somewhat. Already the device has been seen being sold on Lazada on offer for RM470 while third-party sellers like SatuGadgetDotCom and others are offering it for as low as RM459. While it doesn't come with S-Voice or S-Pen support, it should offer Galaxy Life freebies as well.
