A new member has joined the J family – the Samsung Galaxy Tab J is a very budget-oriented tablet that is designed for those who wants the size, but not the high pricetag.

The tablet packs a 7-inch PLS panel (Samsung's take on the IPS technology) with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. It comes with a quad-core processor running at 1.5GHz, and paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Internally it has 8GB, that can be expanded with microSD slots. The rear camera is an 8-megapixel module with a f/1.9 lens, with a front 2-megapixel camera for selfies.

It does have a 4000mAh battery so you can expect the tablet to run for a whole day, and it comes with the standard connectivity options – WiFi, Bluetooth and even FM Radio. Yes - it will make calls as well. It will be on sale in Taiwan for TWD 5990 (~RM 757) soon – with no confirmed availability in Malaysia as yet.
