Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G appears in promotional listing

Not many use tablets these days, but the larger screens remain useful for some people. That's why it's good to see that Samsung is still making them, with a new 5G variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 now making an appearance on Samsung's website in South Korea. It seems 2020 is really going to be the year of 5G.

The device was first spotted when Samsung put up a promotion listing it and other tablets. It's also shown that the Galaxy Tab S6 5G would be coming soon and since the promotion ends on 31 March 2020, we can assume that the tablet will be launched within the next 2 months or so. In fact, it could even be announced at the upcoming CES 2020.

In terms of design, the 5G variant looks no different from the regular Tab S6. We're expecting the tech specs to be mostly similar as well. This means it would come with at least a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 10.5-inch super AMOLED display. If Samsung decides this variant needs an upgrade, we could see the RAM bumped up to 8GB and/or the storage to 256GB.
