Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 may not come with in-display fingerprint sensor

August is going to be a big month for Samsung, as it looks to unveil a range of new products at the Samsung Unpacked event. Among them are two new tablets for the Galaxy Tab S7 series, which which are expected to arrive in 11-inch and 12.4-inch models. But it seems that the smaller model may have not have some features.

According to Sammobile, 'reliable sources' have said that the 11-inch Galaxy Tab S7 will come without the in-display fingerprint sensor that the 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S7+ would have. Instead, Samsung the fingerprint reader will be integrated into the power button. While not as high-tech as its larger sibling, the advantage of a physical fingerprint reader is that it's faster and more accurate.

Other than that, the two models will have mostly the same tech specs. Both the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ are expected to come with the Snapdragon 865 chipset, though some believe it would be the new Snapdragon 865+ instead. They should also come with Super AMOLED displays, dual stereo speakers, and support for 45W fast-charging.
