Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ appeared on Geekbench with Snapdragon 898

Besides the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, the Korean tech giant could also launch its next-gen flagship tablet series, the Galaxy Tab S8 series, at the same event. Today, a tablet from the company has appeared on Geekbench with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor, with sources claiming that it's the Galaxy Tab S8+.

The device with model number SM-X808U is said to be the 5G version of the Galaxy Tab S8+ heading to the US. It also reveals that the Qualcomm chip that powers the tablet has a prime core clocking at 3.00GHz, three cores working at 2.50GHz, and the remaining four cores at 1.79GHz. With the chip, the supposed-to-be Galaxy Tab S8+ scored 1,211 and 3,193 points for single-core and multi-core tests respectively.

According to the source, the Galaxy Tab S8+ is likely to sport a 12.4-inch OLED screen. The device may also arrive in 128GB and 256GB storage options. There could be a 10,090mAh battery that carries support for 45W fast charging as well. Furthermore, it could come in multiple variants such as 5G, LTE, and Wi-Fi only.
