The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE was released in Europe just last month, but it has finally made its way to the Malaysian market here. Available across the nation starting today, it can be purchased at a recommended retail price of RM799.
Available in black, pink gold and silver, the Galaxy Watch FE in Malaysia is pretty much the same thing as the global variant. It is available in 40mm only, the 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display uses sapphire glass and its casing is made out of aluminium. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi, NFC and GPS. There are also over 100 different workouts for users to choose from.
In terms of tech specs, the Galaxy Watch FE features an Exynos W920 chipset, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Powered by a 247mAh battery pack and One UI 5 Watch with Wear OS, the wearable also sports an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, 5ATM for diving and MIL-STD-810H grade.
Equipped with Samsung’s advanced BioActive Sensor, the Galaxy Watch FE provides an array of fitness and wellness functions that deliver personalised and actionable tips around the clock. Additionally, it offers a variety of advanced sleep features, from monitoring sleep patterns to sleep coaching and helping to create a sleep-friendly environment.
Plus, users can monitor their heart health with a pack of heart health monitoring features. The Galaxy Watch FE offers an HR Alert to detect abnormally high or low heart rates and an Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN) feature to proactively monitor heart rhythms suggestive of atrial fibrillation (Afib). Users can also get a deeper understanding of their heart health by monitoring Blood Pressure and ECG.
