In a press release, Samsung revealed that the Watch FE has sapphire glass on top of its screen and is available in a singular size, 40mm. It also has an aluminium case, which alongside the sapphire glass protects the 1.2-inch 396x396 pixels Super AMOLED display.
Under the hood, the wearable is powered by the Exynos W920 SoC paired with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage. The battery is a 247mAh cell. Other specs include Wear OS with One UI 5 Watch on top, an IP68 rating, 5ATM rating for diving, MIL-STD-810H, Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi, NFC, GPS, BioActive Sensor and other health sensors.
The Galaxy Watch FE will be released on 24 June and is priced at USD199 or ~RM939 in black, gold and silver colour options. Meanwhile, the LTE model is USD249.99 or ~RM1179.
