Leaked images indicate that a new hinge is a more likely outcome. As you can see, the alleged protective case for the Galaxy Z Flip4 sports a smaller opening for the hinge. Besides that, the cutout for the rear is also slightly larger (1.9-inch to 2.1-inch) than the one for last year's model. This corresponds with the previous rumour of a larger cover screen.
