As many of you may know, the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is right around the corner. This is evident from recent news, like the teaser earlier this week and the FCC certification for the Galaxy Z Flip6 last month. In fact, we even have renders of the phone now.

Thanks to OnLeaks (via SmartPrix), we've gotten our first glimpse of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6. At a glance, it doesn't look all that different from its predecessor. It still has a dual camera, LED flash, and a 3.4-inch (720x748) cover screen at the top half of the back. The front has the same 6.7-inch (1080x2640) display, but maybe we can expect an upgrade in colour gamut or peak brightness.

However, there are some changes made in the design. Allegedly, the Z Flip6 is slightly thicker than the Z Flip5 (when unfolded) at 7.4mm. This is likely due to a larger battery, which was confirmed to be 4000mAh. That's a notable upgrade from the previous model's 3700mAh battery. Moreover, the Galaxy Z Flip6 is expected to sport a variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a faster clock speed. The storage capacity will come in two options - 256GB and 512GB.

The source also claimed the phone is expected to be more expensive. For reference, the Galaxy Z Flip5's launch price was RM4499, so its successor could launch at around RM4899. Anyway, are you planning to grab the newer Galaxy Z Flip6 or settle for a previous model? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news about the Galaxy Z Flip6.
