As we gear up for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 reveal tomorrow on 1 September 2020 during the Galaxy Unpacked Part II, the rumours are flying fast and thick. This is because we’ve now received reports that the pre-order could be coming from 11 to 17 September with an 18 September 2020 release date.

Coming from Sammobile, there’s no news whether this would be a global launch (usually it is) but we expect the Malaysia pre-order and release date to be the same date. In addition, the folks at Sammobile also found teasers about a Thom Browne Edition for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 as well for about 2500 to 3000 euro (~RM12377 to ~RM14852).

Rumoured tech specs indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will feature a Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset, 12GB RAM, 256GB ROM, 4500mAh, 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 120Hz display and a 6.2-inch SUPER AMOLED display on the outside. Furthermore, it might have a 12MP + 12MP + 12MP triple camera module as well as a 10MP front-facing selfie camera.

No Malaysia pricing details either but rumours again indicate that it could start from £1799 (~RM9973). As always with such things, do take them with a pinch of salt, but this close to the reveal, it seems likely that they are true. Knowing that and the tech specs above, would you be interested in buying the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2? We expect a good amount of worthy freebies to come with it, but what do you think?
