Samsung Malaysia Electronics releasing the world’s first 49-inch 32:9 ultra-wide gaming monitor for RM6499
Today, Samsung Malaysia Electronics is excited to release the new CHG90 ultra-wide gaming monitor at a retail price of RM6499, it will be available from 15 December onwards at all Samsung stores and as the name suggested, it's truly an ultra-wide gaming monitor measuring 49-inch in a 32:9 aspect ratio with Quantum Dot technology.
You can also expect it to feature a powerful High Dynamic Range (HDR) picture enhancement technology that's usually typically reserved for televisions, as well as 125% of sRGB colour spectrum and 95% of Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI-P3) motion picture standard. The 49-inch screen comes with double full HD resolution of 3840 x 1080, a framing rate of 144Hz, 1ms motion picture response time, a 1800 curvature for the monitor and ultra-wide 178-degrees viewing angle.
As a gaming monitor, Samsung also integrated AMD's Radeon FreeSync technology supporting a wide colour gamut to showcase HDR content with twice the brightness. The CHG90’s Picture-by-Picture (PBP) function supports the simultaneous connection of two external inputs, essentially allowing the monitor to serve as two separate screens for different devices, providing the ultimate multitasking flexibility and efficiency.
