If you have a Samsung device, this may be of use to you. Samsung Malaysia announced that they are now offering the Samsung Smart Warranty for selected devices on sale right now. By buying in the warranty the device warranty will be extended by a year, from only RM 49.
The extended warranty will only cover certain mechanical and technical issues so there is no coverage for accidental damage or broken screens. Also the extended warranty offer is only available while your current warranty is still active.
The devices covered includes smartphones like the new Galaxy S7/S7 edge, the Note 5, the Galaxy S6 series as well as several tablet models. While this does not cover everything, it is nice to get the option to extend your device warranty for a peace of mind.
