Yesterday, Samsung Malaysia Electronics held an event with Sunway Medical Centre (SMC) to launch the Time to Move 90-day wellness programme. Organised by SMC, this initiative is to empower participants to have professional health guidance from SMC, supported by Samsung Health and the advanced features of the Galaxy Watch7.
Through this collaboration, Samsung said the heart of the Time to Move programme is Samsung Health which enables users to monitor key health metrics such as heart rate, muscle mass, body fat percentage, caloric intake, blood pressure, and sleep quality. Selected participants will receive the Galaxy Watch7, equipped with settings tailored to meet their individual health needs and kickstart their wellness journeys.

The Time to Move programme is designed to be engaging and interactive, offering participants access to a series of dynamic fitness talks and group workouts. These sessions not only educate participants on effective health strategies but also foster a sense of community and support among those on similar wellness journeys. This holistic approach ensures that participants are not just monitoring their health but actively engaging with it in ways that could promote lasting change.
The programme runs from 19 October 2024 to 18 January 2025. At its conclusion, participants will undergo a comprehensive assessment at the beginning and end of the program that includes a basic blood test and an InBody analysis to evaluate body weight, fat, muscle mass, and other key metrics, providing insights and performance tracking into their overall health progress. Exciting rewards await those with the best results, including a Galaxy Z Flip6 and luxurious getaways for two to either the serene Banjaran Hotspring Hotel or the thrilling Lost World of Tambun.
